LIOH conducted research on land injustices during 2020, after the national workshop compiling country-movement on VFV campaign. We’ve collected over 2,000 respondents for survey questionnaires and more than 20 cases of land grabbing from 6 State/Regions; as the COVID & COUP interrupted the data collection process. The presentation on preliminary findings of the research was made for stimulating the discussions amongst LIOH partners during 2022. The report was finalized in 2023 in order to make it a document for stimulating wider discussions, consensual interpretations and positioning for the peoples’ rights to land & federal land governance.
